We must take the path that we're on. With our movements designed as a warning, it tells them we carry the weight of our wrongs and its might is our weakness again but i'm tired of tearing out the laughter of love and of song so with this my wandering begins
2.
i've left everything i've ever known that is everything that i want you to know o'er these miles, getting further below what it means to be my own man to know these hills, to build this land and with the way I release your hand i made unclear where we stand now i'm all the way gone pressed my luck to the bone been forgiven all i can please slow i left you and new york city behind a forgone effort to control my mind now it's not like i miss you all the time but it is that way tonight now i'm all the way gone pressed my luck to the bone been forgiven all i can please slow the pace of this plan now it's not like i miss you all the time but it is that way tonight

II: The Book 02:21
The struggle stays and my wasted days begin to fade and its turning out that i'm not the man who does without I hold the book, that's where you'll always be looking down on me, look down on me on judgement day i'll only ask for everything that you justify the depth of evil in the world and in me I hold the book, that's where you'll always be looking down on me, look down on me
4.
i'm so tired again i'm sick, and it's growing as i wait for my ride i'm so fucked up again and i'm mean when i'm drinking as i wait for my ride until like a great westbound train he comes running and it takes but it gives me all that i need to go on it's not lack of vision and i swear i'm listening as i wait for my ride now where have all of my days gone to? You dear, i'm wasting my time with you but i'm better off here this is the way that the night begins to call out and it's all that I'm thinking about this is the way that the night begins to call out you'll find me riding around

I take a walk. It's not safe to talk, the alcohol is in my blood. I can't believe it's come to this; no breath, no kiss, you fade away. A stranger, I lie in wait for you. Our time is all but over now. I can't ignore that moving forward isn't something i do well. Take the way I look at pain; like steady rain, like it's my fate. Its dangerous to hold this weight with me. My stakes are up. I'm leaving town.
